Arrow was founded in 1964 by James S. Thomas, grandfather of current president, Emily Thomas Kendrick. Along with his wife, Jean, the Thomas family began an odyssey which would lead to regional prominence. Early in the history of Arrow, the objective was termite and new construction termite prevention. While that is still a focus today, the company offers a wide array of services.

Joe Thomas joined the family business in 1972 and with his brother Barry, they have led the company until recently. They expanded the services of pest control and also focused on acquisitions with approximately one hundred acquisitions to date which allowed the expansion beyond native Georgia. Today, Arrow is the largest family owned pest control business in Georgia.

In 2010, Emily Thomas Kendrick, Joe’s eldest daughter, was named Chief Executive Officer and President with Joe remaining as a very active member of the management team. Emily Thomas Kendrick continues the pursuit of acquisitions as well as business expansion in current markets. Arrow is still a privately held company.

Arrow has a state of the art training center in Woodstock, Georgia, not far from their corporate offices in Roswell, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. The training center features individualized training capabilities as well as mock ups of real life accounts so that technicians can use real experiences to learn.
